WEEK 6

Palm Sunday has arrived. This begins our Lord’s Passion week. Thank Him for all He endured to purchase your salvation.

Ten lepers cleansed. Only one came back to say thanks. What has the Lord done for you, and you have yet to say thanks? Think about it and thank Him today.

Are you convinced? There is nothing that keeps you from God’s presence, except for sin. And if you are following Jesus, cleansed by His blood, you have been reconciled to God and can never be separated from His love for you, as demonstrated by the love of our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ! Thank Him for that.

Following up on yesterday: the love of God, as demonstrated in Christ Jesus, endures forever. Reflect on that thought today and be grateful.

Are you grateful for the fellow believers the Lord has placed in your life? He arranged your paths to cross so you can encourage each other in faith. Thank Him for another believer today, and then tell them you are thankful to God for them.

Well, we made it to day 40! Thanks for joining me on this journey. I am grateful for you. See you tonight at our Good Friday service, where we can express our gratitude to God together. Blessings to you, PF.
WEEK 5
DAY 28

We don’t use the word ‘extol’ often. It means ‘to praise, exalt, or lift up God with deep reverence, admiration, and gratitude’. There’s a lot of excitement packed into that word. Why wouldn’t there be? He’s the Great God and King! Thank Him for all He has done.
DAY 29

Hmmmm. This sounds familiar. This is the third time we ran across this. Every day is a good day to thank God for His goodness to us. Do that today!
DAY 30

A silent heart is a dead heart. Even our physical heart makes a sound as it beats. May your heart be alive and loudly sing His praises.
DAY 31

Name one thing you are thankful for today. Let your heart overflow with thanksgiving in His presence.
DAY 32

The context of this verse is the prophetic fulfillment of Palm Sunday. It is the day Israel has been waiting for. The day the King would ride into Jerusalem. We can rejoice and be glad that the day came over 2,000 years ago. He was King then, and He will always be. Praise Him!
DAY 33

The verse context concerns which foods a believer can eat, because some taught that believers had to abide by the dietary laws of the Old Testament in order to be righteous before God. But our Lord Jesus has fulfilled the law, and now we live by faith according to His
grace. We no longer have to prove our righteousness to God. Christ has given us His, and that’s proof enough! Thank Him for that!
DAY 34

Once again. Is there a message the Lord wants us to understand? Praise Him again for His unfailing love. One more week left of the 40 days of gratitude. Keep going!
WEEK 4
DAY 21

Do you thank God for His goodness? He determines what is good and what isn’t in this world. He is the source of goodness, and in His goodness, He sent His Son to us.
DAY 22

Hmmmm. This sounds familiar. Didn’t we discuss this yesterday? Every day is a good day to thank God for His goodness to us. Do that today!
DAY 23

You may not be able to play the harp, but you can sing to the Lord with grateful praise. Even if it’s a joyful noise, it is music to His ears! Let your gratitude for all He has done for you in Christ Jesus move you to grateful praise.
DAY 24

This isn’t a complete thought. You should look this up and read through verse 11. He lives ________ and _________! Thanks be to God, our Lord, who is alive and will always be ready to help us.
DAY 25

Jonah’s grateful praise led him to sacrifice. What does your grateful praise lead you to? How do you show your grateful praise to the Lord for all He has done?
DAY 26

What a day that will be! When we see our Lord ruling and reigning, bringing everything into submission in His righteousness. Look forward to that day and thank Him because it is coming soon.
DAY 27

Unfailing love. Even though we fail often, His love for us will never fail, and His deeds for our benefit are beyond measure. Thank Him!
WEEK 3
DAY 14

Victories that we gain for ourselves are short-lived. When God gives us victory, it's eternal! Victory over sin! Victory over death! Praise Him!
DAY 15

Devotion. In Christian circles, devotion usually means "read your Bible". Let's remember the proper use of the word: "To give all or most of one's time or resources to (a person or activity)." How could our lives be different if we devoted ourselves to prayer, being watchful fo rour Lord's return, and being thankful?
DAY 16

If you need evidence that the kingdoms of this world are shaking, look at the news this week. But we thank our Lord that the Kingdom we are receiving is as enduring as the God who owns it! In light of this, practice Biblical worship.
DAY 17

This morning, think about God’s righteousness. It never changes. And that’s the righteousness that is imputed to us through Christ Jesus! Thank Him for it.
DAY 18

Think about the wonderful deeds our God has accomplished through Christ Jesus. Eternal salvation. Sins forgiven. Indwelling Holy Spirit. Lives changed! Redemption. Think of some on your own
and thank Him for His wondrous deeds.
DAY 19

In just a couple of days, we will be together again (Lord willing) to praise Him in the assembly. Are you ready?
DAY 20

Can you believe that after today, we are ½ way through our 40 Days of Gratitude already?! Sing a song to Him in your heart (especially if you sing like me ?) or, just belt it out! God’s name represents everything He is. I AM that I AM. He is everything we will ever need for righteousness and salvation!
WEEK 2
DAY 7

If you consider the context of the verse, Paul is referring to all of the trials he and his companions faced for the benefit of the Corinthians. Let this serve as a reminder of the trial our Lord Jesus endured for all of us, for our benefit, and may your heart overflow with thanksgiving to God.
DAY 8

God so loved that He gave. The righteousness, security, glory, and grace found in our Lord Jesus are indescribable! Thank God our Father for His gift to us.
DAY 9

God's goal in everything you face is your growth in Christ Jesus. But first comes perseverance. That in itself is a gift to us. Because of our Lord Jesus, God the Father takes the trials of the world that can overwhelm us and transforms them into the fruit of perseverance. Thank Him for that.
DAY 10

Do you ever feel like you don't belong-anywhere? Israel felt that way too. But God's mercy has brought us into His holy family through Christ Jesus. You belong!
DAY 11

God has qualified you to share in the inheritance of His holy people. Not an inheritance here, where it can fade and spoil, but in the Kingdom of Light-the Kingdom of our Lord and Christ! Thank Him for that.
DAY 12

No matter what you've faced in life, you have never been unloved. God has always loved you, even during your worst moments. As a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, you will never be unloved. You are precious to Him. Thank Him.
DAY 13

My prayer for you is that, as you have been meditating on this week's verses, your heart is truly overflowing with gratitude to Him for all He has done.
WEEK 1

DAY 1

As a disciple of the Lord Jesus, you will encounter trials in this world. Sometimes, it might feel like you're getting your fair share, and then some. But don't lose heart. Our Lord is with you and working in you toward perfection.
DAY 2

As a disciple of the Lord Jesus, entering His gates happens each morning when you open your eyes. Make it a habit to praise Him with your first breath after waking up.
DAY 3

As a disciple of the Lord Jesus, this is Him encouraging you to ask Him for what you need. Present your requests! Go ahead. It's more than okay. And don't forget to thank Him for listening and responding, even if His response isn't what you expected.
DAY 4

As a disciple of the Lord Jesus, you can thank the Lord for His peace. He leads you beside still waters. He restores your soul. Thank Him!
DAY 5

What are you up to today? The Lord has given you the strength for what you need to do. So, thank Him. And don't forget to thank Him for the wisdom He gives you, so you can share it with others.
DAY 6

This simple verse sums it up. Thank Him because He is always good. Thank Him that His love for you will never grow cold.
